Merlin Maltese & Bolognese Mix Omaha, NE

Merlin here! I am looking for a patient owner to call my own, as I've had a rough start to life. I came to Omaha from Arkansas where I spent my first year of life living on a chain outdoors and being hit with sticks. Because of this, it may take time for me to warm up and trust my people. Once I trust you, I turn into a kissing, snuggling, love bug who will fill your heart with joy!

Because I had such a rough start to life, I could use a few things in my new home. I will need a fence as I LOVE to be outside, running and exploring, but am also curious. If you have kids, I would prefer them to be older as the unexpected/fast movements of little kids scare me. I'm still working on potty training, so I currently use a belly band indoors. If you have other dogs, I would want to meet them first because I don't always love the dogs I meet. Lastly, I am working on my leash manners since I've never been on walks before.
