Meet Mercy
Meet Mercy! She is a 6 year old - 65 lb lab mix that was surrendered by her owners through no fault of her own and is looking for her forever home. In her previous home she went through some rough times with young children not respecting her boundaries - she never lashed out at them but she would feel safer in a home with children that understand how to respect her and keep her safe.
She is house trained, crate trained, sits when told, and loves to go on walks. She has been socialized with small and large dogs at her foster moms house and does very well with them.
Mercy likes to sleep in her foster moms room at night and has never had an accident or gotten into trouble during that time! When alone she does go in a crate and has never had an accident or escaped. She has really become attached to her foster mom and follows her everywhere she goes.
Mercy will bark if someone unknown comes in the house. Once she is told that it is ok she does settle down but does need a little extra time to warm up to new men. As long as she is given the patience and time to learn about new people she has no problem warming up to them as she now adores her foster dad.
She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet her new family.
