Meet Menthol aka Slate - new pictures

Menthol is no longer at the shelter. This handsome favorite is now living in a foster home as he waits to be adopted. For more info, please email jpasfosterEB@gmail.com.
Menthol was picked up as a lost dog with a broken leg and had recovered and no longer has exercise restrictions. We have discovered he loves his tennis ball. Menthol has the best ears! He weighs just under 41 pounds. He passed his dog test and enjoys doggie playgroup.
Here is a comment from Menthol's foster mom:
He sounds like chirping birds. He is so sweet, even with 5 lb mini Yorkies and the 3 year old little girl that lives next door. Menthol stole a slider off her plate, she snatched it out of his mouth; and he didn't react. She ordered him to sit in her "big girl" voice, just like I taught her. He slid into a down to wait. She gave him the slider after she was done eating.
Update 4/4/19 Menthol is responds to "Slate" in his foster home.
The Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter adoption fee is $69 The adoption fee includes vaccinations, mandatory spay/neuter, heartworm test, and microchip.
