Melvin has to be the bounciest pup we have ever had. This guy is not gonna stop expressing his love for life through interpretive dance!!! He is about 6 months old and weighs 9 pounds so he's going to be on the small side of medium or the larger side of small....however you prefer to look at it. Melvin is not a hypoallergenic, allergy friendly pup and we are not sure of his background so we can only make a guess as to his breed mix. His personality will forever be on the biggest side of big. The world is his friend. We all need someone like Melvin in our lives. Melvin loves his canine companions and loves his people as well. We have discovered over time that Melvin needs with a family that has someone home more than gone during the day, a fenced yard because he LOVES to run free and play in the yard, and a canine friend to run and play the day away with. Now Melvin is young, small and very playful so his canine companion must also be close to his age, size and energy level. He will drive older dogs nuts because the play is non stop. There really isn't much that Melvin doesn't love!

Melvin Hale Madlock is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
