We are pleased to introduce beautiful Mellie, AKA Mom of the Year.
Mellie is a 1 yr old, 50-60 pound lab/pit mix who was banished from the home she knew all her life and deserted at the shelter. Shortly after being dumped at this noisy, scary place she gave birth to 9 puppies. One baby didn't make it but Mellie and her 8 surviving pups were transferred to an awesome foster home 3 days later where they have all thrived.

Mellie has been an incredibly loving and attentive mama but now it's her turn to be pampered. She is looking for a home where she can be loved and snuggled for the rest of her days.

Mellie is super sweet and friendly. She loves everyone. She's great with kids and enjoys playing with other dogs. She sleeps through the night, preferably in your bed. She is housebroken and leash trained.

Mellie is being fostered in New Berlin, Wi and her adoption donation is $375. She is micro-chipped, UTD on vaccinations and will soon be spayed.
