Meet Meet Max – The Gentle Boy with a Heart of Gold! Affectionate & Calm!
Max is a 2.5-year-old, 67-pound Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix with a calm, soulful presence. Though we don’t know much about his past, we do know that Max spent over six months roaming his fosters neighborhood, cared for by kind-hearted neighbors who fell in love with his Gentle nature.
Now safe and thriving in a foster home, Max has proven himself to be an absolute ANGEL!. He’s house trained, crate trained, and enjoys his daily walks on leash. He has a low-energy personality and is happiest lounging nearby, quietly keeping watch while his humans go about their day.
Max is great with children (ages seven and eight) and incredibly sweet with small dogs, playing gently and respectfully. While he hasn’t been tested with younger kids or cats, he shows little interest in cats when passing them on walks.
This laid-back, loyal boy is looking for a family to love him as much as he’ll love them. If you're seeking a Calm, Affectionate companion with a Heart as big as his paws, Max might just be your perfect match.
