Blissful BOLT Dachshund Mix Reston, VA

Hi there! My name is BOLT and I want to tell you a little bit about me.

I am two years young and weigh in at a trim 20 lbs. The humans think I am a mix of dachshund and maybe a husky type dog, given my striking markings. My parentage is much less important than my personality; I am calm, loving, extremely gentle and VERY low maintenance.

Here are a few other things you might want to know about me: I prefer my food on a plate, not a bowl, but I'm not fussy about what I get served. I am crate trained, housebroken and have no interest in your toys, furniture, shoes, etc. I do love a good bone to gnaw on though. I enjoy walks in the woods and splashing in streams - my legs might be short but I can go for miles without getting tired. I enjoy car rides, cuddling on the couch (or in your bed) and sitting on laps. I get along well with cats, dogs and all kinds of humans.

I have all my shots and have been neutered. My adoption fee is $350 which includes my micro chip (although I plan to never run away from home). Right now I am being fostered in the DC area and am available for meet & greets.
