Meadow's Story

Meadow: Female, 6 years old, Standard Poodle mix, 55 pounds

Meadow is a gentle, bashful girl who was found as a stray and is learning how to enjoy life as a loved family dog. In her foster home, she’s blossoming- playing fetch, learning to sit, and doing well with crate training. Potty training is nearly complete, and she rarely has accidents. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, and gentle, older children. Meadow feels most comfortable with another calm dog in the home and takes anxiety medication as needed, especially during storms or when left alone.

She’s a quiet, sweet companion who startles easily with loud noises but loves to play and relax once she feels safe. Meadow will thrive in a patient home that can give her time to come out of her shell and show her affectionate, playful side. Leash walks or a securely fenced yard are required for this tender-hearted girl as she continues to grow in confidence and trust.
