This little girl is just beginning to come out of her shell. Meadow is very cautious and she is working on trust. She would be best in a quiet home, not a lot of traffic in and out.
Meadow likes women and also would do well with another dog for companionship and as a teacher. Meadow is learning how to be a dog. She spent most of her life in a shelter. She is learning how to play with my little 3 year old Cairn terrier who is a terror. The pack here consists of an 11 year old Pit Bull Oreo who does not live here but comes to visit quite often. We also have three other senior dogs here. Meadow will need a doggie companion. Meadow does not enjoy children and would be best in a home without them. This is not an option as she is terrified of the little ones.
Meadow has been a joy to have here and will remain here until she finds her perfect forever home. She is participating in the pack outings to the yard, she has not shown any interest in the ball. She does her business and comes right back into the house to
her safe place.
Meadow does not look to go for walks on a leash, not her thing. She enjoys the fenced in yard and that will be a must. A run is not her thing either – she likes to leap and run and when she has had enough run back into the house.
Meadow has a couple favorite toys she snuggles and sleeps on her adorable pink unicorn and she loves lamb chop! She is also very fond of her moose. Occasionally Meadow with suckle on her blanket.
Meadow will take about four weeks to adjust to you and your schedule. This is very normal for a shelter older dog. She is very sweet and loving. Her eyes are the key. You will read her fear and watch as they start to reflect trust. Meadow will adjust to your schedule – she has not had one accident in the house so she
will go when you are able to take her out. She lets me know she needs out by her movements back and forth and she may go to the door keep an eye on her. You will notice the signs.
Mostly of all just love her! She will return your love 10 fold. She is going to be a joyful
companion and you are blessed to have her in your world.
Adoption fee is $425
