After running stray for over a month, McGee was finally trapped and brought to safety. He served his stray hold, but no one came to claim him—now he’s looking for a forever home where he can truly belong.

McGee is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. He came to us with an old leg injury that has since healed beautifully. While the vet thinks he may develop arthritis a bit earlier than some dogs, a daily Cosequin supplement can help delay its onset and keep him comfortable for years to come.

This young pup LOVES other dogs and is even respectful of the chickens at his foster home! While we haven’t tested him with cats yet, his calm attitude around chickens suggests he may be fine with feline friends too—with slow and proper introductions, of course.

McGee is crate trained, mostly housebroken, and listens well with great recall. Like many young dogs, he still gets excited and jumps up sometimes, but he’s a quick learner and responds well to guidance.
