Mazie is a 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who is ready to steal your heart! She is fully grown at about 35 pounds, a perfect medium size. Mazie was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Georgia and is so happy to be alive.

Mazie is a calm, well-behaved girl who enjoys spending most of her days curled up on the couch or sitting by a window watching the neighborhood. This girl prioritizes comfort and will burrow herself under blankets or curl up right by your side. Mazie is shy when meeting new people but warms up in no time. She enjoys going for walks and is working on her leash-walking skills. She isn’t a huge fan of most toys but does enjoy having a nylabone or antler to chew. She is super food motivated and will happily offer her paw in exchange for a yummy snack. Mazie also knows sit and down.

At night, Mazie sleeps soundly through the night either at the foot of the bed, under a blanket, or snuggled up against her person. She is housebroken and crate trained, though she doesn’t need one. All this girl needs is a perfect forever home to call her own!
