Mayhem Doberman Pinscher Atlanta, GA

Mayhem is gorgeous, confident, affectionate and somewhat pushy.  She is well behaved in the house and not destructive, but she plays rough and will pick on a weaker dog.  She plays well with the same-aged male Doberman in her foster home but they play rough.  We don't want to place her with a female dog, or a small or old dog.  We don't know how she is with cats so we won't place her into a home with them.

Mayhem barks and appears protective when people approach the home, but she is very friendly when you actually meet her.  She loves petting and attention. She knows basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and she has a solid stay.  She is crate trained and housebroken.

Mayhem weighs about 72 lbs.  She is red/rust, docked & cropped.  She was turned in by her owner who had to move somewhere that didn't allow Dobermans.  Her owner said she needs to take Apoquel for allergies and we have kept her on that medication.  She starts scratching if you stop giving it to her.  It would be worth trying a raw meat diet with her.  That may alleviate the allergy issue.

Mayhem has been spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $450.  Her adopter must live within an hour's drive of Atlanta.  We prefer to find her a home with someone with previous Doberman experience.
