Meet Maya

Maya! DOB: 5/2022 Weight: 50lbs

Maya came to us blind at 4.5 months old after she was left at a vets office. She immediately went to foster and we scheduled appointments to have her eyes looked at. However, it was later determined that it would be best that her eyes were removed. Despite not being able to see, Maya gets around just fine and acts like any other young, playful dog would. Friends say that she's a cuddly girl who loves to give kisses! Enjoys playing outside, napping around with her foster siblings, and taking trips to town! Her foster brother has taught her how to get in the trashcan and find the leftovers, so maybe put the trash up . She's house trained but tends to need to go out frequently. Is in foster with little kids and dogs of various sizes and does fantastic with all of them. I'm sure she'd do just fine with the felines too.
Her adoption fee is $175. That covers worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a two week trial in which you can borrow items. If interested in adopting her please fill out an application on our website. pcpoundpuppies.com. Came to the shelter 10/2022 but posted for adoption 4/2023. ***YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BEFORE WE DO ANY MEET AND GREETS. QUESTIONS? CONTACT pcpoundpuppies1@gmail.com
Our standard adoption fee is $175 ($250 for puppies 6 months and under, or small dogs 20lbs or below) which covers a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.
