Meet Maya! Maya he just loves to let you know that she is in the room with you, whether it's throwing a toy in your lap or sleeping curled up next to you on the couch. When she curls up on you, she likes to cuddle with at least once piece of her touching you. She likes her space, but she also wants to be near you. Maya usually likes to entertain herself but if she wants your participation, she will drop her toy right in your lap and demand you to play with her. Her favorite companion game is tug with rope toys. She also enjoys fetch with any kind of ball, especially tennis balls. She has plenty of energy to run after something, even her human companion in a game of chase or hide and go seek, but also loves to just gnaw on any toy. When she plays alone, she prefers squeak toys.

Maya is a good house guest. She doesn't beg for food and is housebroken. She knows the commands sit, lay down, off, paw, switch paw, high five (two paws up), dance (dances in a circle), crate, up, come here, leave it, & down. She'll happily drown you in kisses but only if you give her permission to. While Maya's previous owner would do anything to keep her, she wants what is best for her and knows her current one bedroom living situation in a noisy apartment is not giving Maya the comfort, exercise, or security she needs. She would love a home with a fenced in yard and family members who can spend more time with her.
