Hi, I am Maya!
I am an older gal with plenty of spunk! I love being active, and is quite the clown at times. Hiking, camping, or just a walk in the park would make her day. Besides being with my person, my favorite things are: hiking, camping, or just a walk in the park would make my day. I have been told I am quite sweet!

I am being re-homed so I can live my senior years in happiness. I will most happy with only females in the house.... not dogs though. I am not fond of female dogs, esp if they are bigger. I do like smaller dogs and will even play with them! But I do not like boys or men at this time.

When she was adopted as a puppy all was well for a short time. Then, it was found out she was being abused through a cage by small boys, not fed, and not being cared for in general. So she found what was her furever home and has been there 6 yrs. There are other dogs, hounds on the farm and after almost 6 yrs, she decided she does not like the larger female dogs but gets along with smaller ones. Maya is very sweet and loves to give and get loves. Now it is getting warmer, she is spending more time outside playing with her pal Lily, a 6 month great dane. So far she is not reacting to my female through the doors. She just wants to be near a person all day and be loved and love you back.
