Maxwell Labradoodle Richmond, VA

Hi, my name is Maxwell, I am a male mini-labradoodle and I am 16 months old and weigh in at 30lbs. I was surrendered by my owner to a local shelter because I supposedly snapped (not bite) at a child. I, however, was in horrible shape when I arrived here at the rescue, I was matted and my hair was stained with urine and it looked like I was neglected and not well cared for at all. Despite all that I am still a very friendly and sweet boy! I wiggle around and just love any attention I am given. I love to place my head on your lap and just stare loving at you as I am very grateful for a new chance at a better life. My foster home has not seen any evidence that I am nothing but a wonderful dog that had a rough start in life. I am good with other dogs, pay no mind to the cat that lives here and I am crate trained but I am not a fan as my all appearances I spent a great deal of my life locked up in one.
