Meet Maximus-a fun-loving, athletic pup with a heart of gold and a flair for fetch. Whether he's catching balls mid-air or charging around the yard with his favorite giant blue ball, Maximus brings a big personality and plenty of energy to everything he does. Kiddie pools? He's a splash expert.

Smart and eager to please, Maximus knows his commands and is quick to learn-especially when treats or praise are involved. Around the shelter, he's something of a VIP-he's got his own double kennel, a rotating stash of toys, and a fan club of staff and volunteers who can't resist his goofy charm.

While Maximus is high-energy and needs structure, he's not all action-this boy loves belly rubs and quiet downtime with his people. Once he's out of the shelter and in a calm space, his more relaxed, affectionate side really shines.

Maximus will thrive in a home with space to run, patient leadership, and people who appreciate both his playful side and his snuggly moments. A more experienced dog home or active adopter would be ideal for helping him shine.
