Meet Maxie

Maxie is a beautiful goofball who literally jumps for joy when she's excited! She gets some seriously impressive height with her jumps.

Maxie came to us after being abandoned when her people moved. The landlord brought her to the shelter after finding her left in their small, fenced yard. Before her time with us Maxie lived outside her entire life outside, so it's not a huge surprise she was heartworm positive. Luckily, she is almost finished with her treatment!

Maxie is around 3 years old and weighs almost 70 pounds (but could stand to use a few!)

Miss Maxie loves people and can't get enough attention. She would fit well in a family with kids. We think age 8 and up would be best, but she could do younger with dog-savvy kids. Maxie would prefer a home where there are no cats. Maxie was retested with dogs and she does get along with some dogs now.
