MAX MOOSE is a goofy sweetheart.
What a total change for his life. When rescued, he was underweight at 25 pounds and was in dire need of some good groceries. Due to his petite size, the shelter believed Max to be about 7 months old; however, the vet estimated him to be closer to 2 years old! With lots of great care in his foster home, he's already gained 10 pounds, and is at 35 pounds. We may gain a little more weight, but at two years old, he's on the smaller side of medium.
Because MAX needed to gain weight first, he has not yet been neutered. That is being schedule for the first of the year, and he is ready to begin meeting potential adopters!
MAX MOOSE has great puppy like energy, gets so excited to see us in the mornings, sleeps through the night in a crate, potty trained, and lovesssss playing with other dogs. He’s been socialized a lot during the time we’ve had him and loves all people.
He’s an absolute gem. Doesn’t chew anything up or destroy anything. He lets you bathe him, touch his paws, mouth, ears so no sensitivity with that. And he’s let me put him in some Christmas pajamas and warm sweaters!
He’s an absolute doll who just wants to be around you constantly I think he’d be a good fit for any kind of home.
We believe MAX MOOSE to be an American Pit Bull mix. His estimated DOB is 12/07/2018, and he weighs 35 pounds as of 12/20/20.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.
Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.
The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.
We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
