Meet Max MMar

Max MMar

Let's play two truths and a lie. Guess which one is not true. 1) I'm house broken 2) I'm good on a leash 3) I'm a Rottweiler mix. Wow, you guessed 3 was not true, you are good at this game! I'm actually a scruffalupagus mix, a Terrier/Schnauzer mix. And since I'm feeling truthful, I'll admit I'm glad I'm not a Rott Weiler, I'm a lil intimidated by big dogs and my seeing my reflection in the water bowl would freak me out.

I do like all the dogs that live at my foster house and I like to play. Plus I also don’t mind being around cats or kids, I am just an all around nice little dude. I'm only 16 lbs and won't grow more at 3 years old. I'm crate trained and house trained. I am also bilingual or really tri-lingual, because my Foster Mommy speaks both English and Spanish, plus I already speak dog, so I know 3 languages.

When I hear that pawverbial dinner bell, which is actually the sound of dry kibble hitting a steel bowl, I come running on my hind legs. Food gets me super duper excited...I LOVE it. Foster Mommy says "he's a very sweet boy." Yes, yes I am.

I am heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment, but I can move in with you mid-November, so go ahead and put in an application today. My Foster Mommy takes me to the Vet and to the adoption events and I find car rides soothing so I go to sleep . At home if I need to soothe or entertain myself just hand me a biscuit, antler, hoof, chew, anything to keep my choppers occupied. So tell the truth, are you going to adopt me?

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 FOR LOCAL DOGS AND $250.00 FOR PUPPIES. ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $500.00 for puppies. We transport all over the country!!

All our dogs are socialized and we try to provide you a good understanding of the dog’s personality. Please visit our website for more information about what we do; http://www.yourtxrescueconnection.org/. You will also find helpful information about transport, our adoption application and pictures of our all our dogs/pups looking for homes!!

Please contact us at adoptions@godsdogsrescue.org for more information about adopting one of our dogs and puppies or fill out an adoption application at http://www.godsdogsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued dog, their LIVES depend on it!
