Meet Max-adopted

Willow is being fostered with New Hope Dog Rescue (Saskatoon). If you are interested in adopting please fill our Adoption Application. Meet and greet are by appointment only.

Hi I'm Max,

I'm quite a unique looking dog. I have short corgi legs, a long corgi body and am BIG on personality. I'm about a year old, am 16 inches to the shoulder and weigh 35 lbs. I'm active, fun loving and kind of goofy. I like to wrestle and play chase with other dogs and I love the off-leash park, doggie daycare and the beach.

I frequently carry my dog toys around. I am currently on a mission to take all the indoor dog toys outside where I get them all dirty and then refuse to play with them. I wait until my foster mom picks them up, washes them and puts them back in the inside toy basket. Then I grab them and carry them all back outside again and on it goes. Yup, I've got her trained pretty good.

Of course she has also trained me to do a few things too. I am housetrained, cratetrained, know how to sit, lie down, come and shake a paw. I am currently working on my stay. My foster mom has even taught me things like 'drop it' and 'leave it'. I guess she really does want those dog toys to stay inside...

At the end of the day I like to hang out with my foster mom. I am a wonderful lap dog and an expert cuddler too. I am best suited for an active home with adults only or a home with adults and older teenagers. I'm a great guy, so why don't you fill in an application and come and meet me? !

Adoption Application
NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home we want to give it a few days to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! Not available for distance adoptions.

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we get an update about the dog in the new home. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
