Max Shepherd Mix Oxford, ME

Max-a-million is thriving in his current foster home in Texas. He is gaining much needed weight & muscle, and enjoying all his playmates. He is still very much in the all legs teenage boy phase of his life and is nice & tall, but thinks he can still get into your lap. He is dog and people friendly.
Max is wonderful with a huge heart, easily trained, extremely smart, food motivated, inquisitive, emotional and loving. He leans into you for affection.
Max is house trained( vocal when he needs to go out), crate trained, non destructive( except for soft bedding & towels he likes to chew them), loves other dogs, trys to sit in your lap (however he can only drape across it due to how leggy he is). Max is easy to leash walk, but does stop & want to smell everything he passes by also.

Extremely. However, because he tall and young, he may scare some smaller ( chihuahua size and possibly cats) pets. He does not know his size and can be very eager to engage. Max has not been exposed to children however we believe he would be fine. Max is good about sharing his toys and chews and absolutely loves car rides. In fact that's when he is most relaxed!
