Meet Max!
Max is one of our newer arrivals and this handsome guy came from a partner shelter in Georgia! He recently celebrated his 7th birthday and his only wish was for a second chance at life in a furever home. Max is a dog with refined taste, as he should be for a gentleman with his level of wisdom, and has preferred the company of his humans rather than other canine companions so would do best as the only dog in the home. He's an absolute dream on the leash and will happily walk alongside you, content to just soak it all in. Once he's gotten his fill of fresh air and sunshine, he's more than happy to sprawl out on a nice big bed and get his fill of doggy naps! Max hasn't been super playful since his arrival and instead has preferred to be brushed and loved on by people. Max would make an excellent companion for anyone looking for a laid back couch potato that's up for bird watching on the porch or enjoying the sunshine in the backyard! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
