Max Terrier & Poodle Mix San Diego, CA

Max is a playful terrier/poodle mix weighing in at just a little over 15 pounds. He is incredibly social with his family at home and does well with other dogs. He is extremely smart and a fast learner, energetic, cuddly, and loving. His ideal afternoon would be a short walk followed by a fun tricks session and finally a good nap in his owner's lap - snuggling and playing are easily two of his favorite activities. He would like you to know that he is wary around strangers and easily startled by new people. Familiar environments with familiar faces are important to him, and once he gets to know you, he is fiercely loyal. Patience and reassurance are the keys to Max's heart. Max is looking for a family who can give him the love, time, and training to build his confidence and give him the life he deserves.
