Max Border Collie Mix Madras, OR

Max came to us from The Dalles shelter as they were out of room. We are thinking he is some sort of cattle dog mix. Maybe around 2 years old. He LOVES to play ball and will bring it back to you and even hand it to you! He is very smart. He is a little Leary of strangers at first. He is very toy motivated. He does like the treats but would rather have the ball. He knows how to sit, and leave it. Someone has taught him some manners as he doesn't really try to jump on you and he hands the ball back gently. He is not quite ready to go yet as he needs to be scheduled to be fixed but a $25 hold fee can hold him until he is ready to go and that fee goes towards his adoption fee.
