Meet Max *ADOPTED

Max will join us at Pound Dog just as soon as we find a foster or foster-to-adopt home for him.
Max is a friendly dog who loves to go for walks and snuggle on the sofa wrapped up in a blanket. You’d never know he’s is 10! He’s active and playful and his recent senior bloodwork is perfect. Weighing in at 20 pounds, Max is neutered and up to date, housetrained and crate trained and walks well on a leash. A fenced yard is a must. He has lived with another dog, but Max and that dog have been together for 8 years so we’re not sure how he will be with another companion. Respectful older children would be fine, but we feel Max should be in a home where someone will give him a lot of attention and patience. Sadly his owner is faced with medical issues which makes it impossible to care for him any longer. We're looking for a compassionate family who will give Max all the love and patience he needs to transition into his new life. We would prefer NJ adoptions.
