Meet Maverick
This is a courtesy posting for the owner. He is at their home not the shelter.
Maverick is a 3 year old pit bull. We believe he is full blooded but nor sure. He is basically a sweet disposition but just too much for us to handle with his strength. I am "dog sitting" this weekend while my daughter and my husband have gone to a car show in Daytona & I have my 17 year old granddaughter here to assist me with the dogs. He needs a home where he can be outside some without having to be on a leash. He listens most of the time but if something catches his attention, he is . determined to explore. The one thing we are all concerned about is him being adopted by someone with ulterior motives. Like using him as a fighting or bait dog or someone who gets pits just to kill them. We have read a lot about that happening lately.
