Matilda Pit Bull Terrier Mix Harrisburg, PA

Meet beautiful Matilda! She is approximately 3 years old and is fully vetted including spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Matilda was heartworm positive when she came into rescue but has finished her treatments and is doing great. She is a healthy and happy girl. Matilda is a solid girl who is a well-rounded companion with a little extra fluff. Seriously, she has lost a few pounds on her diet and is doing wonderful!

Matilda is being fostered in a rural area home with kids and cats. She is wary of strangers and will alert when they are present. Once she is introduced by family, she is fine.

She is very treat driven and she takes treats very gently. She knows how to sit, lay, and roll over. She also knows how to stay but not for very long as she gets impatient. Matilda LOVES water and car rides. She's eager to learn, and she wants to obey. She loves stuffed animals too.

Matilda is vocal when she wants attention. She does it when she's hungry, needs to potty, meets new animals and new people, and when she plays. She is a slow eater and needs to be separated from other dogs when she eats, but she does well with people and kids around her food.

She would do well with a fenced-in yard because she loved to run and play.
