This one-year-old bundle of joy is looking for his forever family, and he’s got enough charm and personality to steal your heart in an instant. With a head and feet adorably oversized for his short legs, Mater is as goofy and lovable as they come—a true character you won’t forget.
He’s already a pro at the basics: potty trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands. He’s also the perfect kind of smart—easy to train but never mischievous. Whether he’s learning a new trick or just chilling with a chew toy while you work, Mater is happy as long as he’s near his people.
We're still working on leash manners, but he's a quick learner and eager to please. Mater is may be dog-selective, so a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings is a must. Though he has been kenneled with other dogs in the shelter and was wonderful in play groups, there is one dog he didn't care for.
Ready to fall in love? Mater can’t wait to meet his new people and start his next big adventure—hopefully with you!
