Mateo's Story

**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**

Sweet and fun-loving, Mateo has certainly had a rough start that he's not let get him down. He's yet to meet a stranger, loves toys (balls are his favorite), and walks by our side on a leash. Because of his questionable start, we have yet to see him successfully interact with other dogs; he lacks social cues and would likely do best as an only dog. Cats are sadly a firm no, as he shows a strong prey drive. He's started to work on basic obedience, knowing sit and being the King of the pouty lip when he begs. Mateo would thrive in a home where he could play a game of fetch before settling in for a movie night on the couch. Mateo is a goofball through and through, and sometimes doesn't make the best decisions - toys with squeakers **must be monitored closely** as he loves to chew them up and swallow the squeakers!!

***
Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org

Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org

The adoption fee of $125 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines.

Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis.

Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!
