Meet Mary

Smiling Mary is a 5 year old boxer/ bulldog mix who weighs close to 60 pounds.

Mary came into rescue as a stray. She has been in a foster home in the South for a couple of months, where she has been getting lots of love, wonderful care, and is thriving. She loves being a couch potato when she isn't busy exploring in the yard or following the foster mom around the house. She likes likes to go for rides and enjoys meeting new people. Mary gets along with other dogs but doesn't seem to be interested in playing much with them, she just wants to follow them around and explore. She walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained (but does not currently use a crate, since she does not need one), and housebroken. Mary is a little hard of hearing, and has had a mass removed, so has a bit of scarring on her neck.

Mary is one fantastic girl, perfect age (out of the puppy chewing stage but still lots of life left) and she will make a great companion or addition to any family.
Because of her size, Mary would do best with children 5 and older.

Adoption fee: $500

Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area.

If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.

Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
