Mary is a young lady believed to be around a year old. She weighs about 22 lbs. Mary was picked up by a small animal control that has a lot of puppy mills. She was believed to be dumped by her breeders.

Mary is a sweet girl but she takes some time to trust. She is still a little scared of fast movements. Once she feels comfortable she is a playful and loving lady. She will climb in your lap for love and enjoys the company of other dogs.

Mary is good with cats and think she will do fine in a home with children but she hasn't been around them in our care. She is young and believe she will overcome her past and insecurities and make a wonderful companion. Mary will need a physical secure fenced in yard to keep her safe and a canine companion to continue to show her how to be confident.


Bethlehem's adoption fee is $365. She is being fostered in St. Louis, MO. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped and on flea and heart worm prevention. Visit our website for our application leiashope.org.
