This dashing dude has mastered the fine art of fetch—though he’s still negotiating the terms of return—and has an undeniable charm that makes him a hit with both two-legged and four-legged friends.

Marty’s got a sweet spot for adventure and would thrive in a home where his energies can be channeled positively. With a love for expansive spaces, he’s the ideal companion for anyone with a large yard or access to wide-open areas where he can stretch his legs and indulge his curiosity. Watch your socks, though! Marty’s still learning that these are not included in his chew toy collection.

A bit of a Houdini, Marty has been known to jump a 5-foot fence when ducks tease him from the other side. But don’t worry, he doesn’t wander far and has no interest in disrupting our feathered friends—just joining in on their pond-side games. To keep him safe and secure, a home with a taller fence or ample supervision would be ideal.

When it comes to cohabitating, Marty is a dream. He’s completely comfortable with handling, loves to lay close to his humans or canine pals, and is fully potty and crate trained—just hold the blankets in the crate, as he tends to turn them into a personal DIY project.

While he's friendly and quick to warm up to new people, Marty thrives in a structured environment where boundaries are clear, and consistency is key. He responds brilliantly to positive reinforcement, making him a joy to train for those who appreciate cleverness and spirit.

Marty is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
