Marty is a four year old Poodle/Havanese mix who was rescued from a horrible puppy mill situation. When he first got to his foster home he was a little shut down, but all that changed when he met some other dogs who taught him how to be a dog. Marty had never touched grass, was never walked on a leash, didn't know what toys were or that a human could show him love. Now he is blossoming into a wonderful well-rounded dog. Marty loves to run around the yard, chase the other dogs and wrestle. Marty would do great in an adult only home with another super confident, friendly low-key dog or by himself. Marty gets extremely overwhelmed in a home with a lot of moving parts, i.e. people coming in and out of the home including strangers. He MUST go into a home where activity inside the home is extremely limited to outside people!!!! He is such a sweet boy who deserves a wonderful home.
