Martin's Story
Meet Martin, an adult (approx. 5 years old) neutered male Wire Terrier mix, weighing about 10 lbs! Martin is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 5/30. We are accepting applications on him now! He will be required to attend our adoption event in Dayville, CT on 6/14. His foster said, "Martin was pretty frightened initially. It takes him a little time to warm up and trust new people but given a little space and time, he is great when he comes around! He might be younger than 5 yrs old. He and Nester lived together and are currently fostered together."

Martin is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. We recommend kids older than 10 years old. Apply to meet this special pup today!

Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
