Shy at first, but everything is NEW! Are you looking for a lover, sweet and snuggly? He gets along with his brother and lived with a female dog, and is interested in meeting others. He will be neutered through the shelter prior to his final adoption.

Did very well for a bath, and has had deworming and updated medical. He will need a home with patience and understanding that he doesn't know the world yet, and that can be scary. He is like a child with fresh eyes and ears to the environment.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost.
No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend bringing any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
