Marshmallow Hound Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Marshmallow, an approximately 7lb (estimated 50lb fully grown), female, hound mix who was born approximately October 2021 and became a Misfit when she was rescued from poor living conditions. This pet is spayed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!

Marshmallow is not house trained as she is so young so she will require routine and continued training. She does sleep in a kennel at night or when unattended. She hasn’t grasped the “crate” command yet but is getting there. As long as you have treats in hand, she will work with you. She has not started to learn any other commands yet but she is food motivated.

Marshmallow is good with cats and other dogs of all sizes. She is a medium-high energy puppy and gets long with dogs of a similar activity level. Marshmallow should be fed separately or be closely supervised during meals around other dogs. She will often venture away from her bowl and try to bully others out of their food. She may grow out of this as she has gotten much better since coming into a foster home. Marshmallow does not currently live with any children but should be just fine with them.

Marshmallow is a spunky pup that’s always ready for a good time. She loves being outside and running around. She can also be vocal when she is playing but that’s just the hound in her. She doesn’t always alert when she needs to go potty but with a little training and routine she should get better. Despite being a curious and active puppy, Marshmallow does enjoy cuddles on the couch or snoozing on her humans lap.
