Meet MARSHA !
MARSHA is a 3-5 year old, 62-pound pit bull who entered the shelter on March 15, 2018 when a community member saw her wandering a neighborhood and called SCRAPS. When she first arrived, she was very fearful, but she is now comfortable with staff and volunteers.
MARSHA has a little fear of strangers approaching her kennel, but outside she wants to play with everyone. In her kennel, she will bark at all the dogs that pass in front of her door. When she is on leash outside, she greets them normally.
MARSHA will need some training to learn about boundaries and home expectations, but regular, daily exercise and attention will do wonders for her. Because of MARSHA’s size and energy level, she would do best in a home without young children (under the age of 10).
