Mars Basenji & Shepherd Mix Roswell, GA

Mars is a beautiful & affectionate Basenji/Shepherd mix who is about 2 years old and weighs 62 lbs. This super handsome boy was picked up as a stray in Douglas County in 2017 and was a shelter & volunteer favorite due to his gentle, sweet & playful temperament. He was adopted in 2018, but was neglected by his owners and, due to no fault of his own, ended up back at the shelter in 2019. Fortunately, BarkVille was able to get him out of the shelter and into a new foster home where he is learning how it feels to be part of a happy, stable family.

Mars is a lovable, intelligent, well-mannered boy who is dog friendly, kid friendly and enjoys being with his people. His foster mom says that he is an absolute love bug and gets along really well with her small dog. He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped. People think he's hypoallergenic because he may be part Basenji, but unfortunately, that's not true. If you're allergic to dogs, you'll be allergic to Mars too!
