Meet Ms. Marley!
Breed: Terrier Mix
Age: 2-3 years
Weight: 50 pounds
My Story: I was found as a stray in Brooklyn Park and wound up in the local shelter. I was so sad and lonely but as luck would have it Spots Last Stop rescued me and things are looking up! Now I’m on the search for my forever family.
Activity Level: Medium. I enjoy running in the fenced back yard and keeping a lookout for bunnies and squirrels. I absolutely love spending time outdoors so I would be so excited if my forever family had a fenced in yard for me to play and explore but its not a must have as long as I get play time and exercise outside. I love going for walks and sometimes pull a little bit when I get excited but overall my leash skills aren’t too shabby. I’m a great mix of fun and chill and after playtime I love to snuggle up by my people on the couch for some cuddles.
Potty Training: Piece of cake, I figured this out quickly after a few weeks in my foster home.
Kennel Training: Rockstar status. I kennel during the day while my foster mom works and come out at lunch for a break to burn some energy and have a potty break. I also sleep in my kennel at night without a peep. Its my safe space and I love it.
Kids: I currently live with a teenager and I love hanging with her and her friends. I would do best in a home with older, respectful kids.
Dogs: I prefer to be top dog so I would do best with mellow and/or submissive dogs. I live with two dogs in my foster home now and for the most part we all get along great! I think having another dog in my forever home would make me feel more comfortable and confident. Also, I do best with medium/large dogs and would prefer a home without small dogs.
Cats: I live with two cats now and I would never hurt them but I do like to chase them. My foster parents think I would probably do best in a kitty free home so I can avoid the temptation.
What I’m working on: I’m still kind of shy and unsure when I meet new people or get into new environments but I do warm up fairly quickly! I’m also learning not to jump on people when they get home or when people come to visit.
I’m just a really sweet and happy girl and I have so much love to give! I can’t wait to have a family of my very own so please fill out an application and come meet me!
