Markie is very sweet, about 2 to 3 yrs of age, spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She has a wonderful personality, loves to play, but even more loves to snuggle and have her belly rubbed. She certainly lets her nose do the walking - she is believe to be a Hound mix. She is said to walk beautifully on a leash too.

NOTES FROM OUR VOLUNTEERS: Very sweet dog that is very easy to walk after she settled down- no pulling at all. Even if she does like to sniff alot she doesn't pull. She knows sit, especially if you have a treat which she takes very gently. She'll also sit without a treat, just takes longer for her to react. Didn't seem too interested in fetching at all, but I bet she would love long walks in a park with stuff to sniff everywhere! Markie loves to play with toys and jumps and leaps with excitement as she tosses the toy in the air. She will make you laugh and make you smile.

Markie is a bit on thin side, and you know we can fix that. She too is from Tennessee and wondering what Ohio can do for her. We do not know about other dogs, cats or kids BUT bring them on down and lets find out together.
