Wahoo! It's-a-me, Mario! When I was 4 months old, I was rescued along with my brother, Luigi from a high-kill shelter in NC in July. But now I'm ready for a home of my own!

The volunteers say I could use a refresher on "basic manners" - not sure what that is. All I know is I get so excited when I see my people that I like to jump up and give them kisses. Isn't that what I'm supposed to do? I also like to pull when walking on a leash. I think I would really like an active family that will teach me how to walk nicely on a leash. I hope I can find a family that is willing to put in the effort and able to commit to daily mental and physical exercise to help me be the very best!

I can be dog social and I get excited when I get to see and meet other dogs. I was in a foster home for awhile, and I wasn't very happy sharing my things with the other dogs in the home. I want to be your one and only doggo so I can get all of your attention! I don't like to be left alone, so I hope there's a family out there that won't leave me alone too often.
