Meet Margo
Excuse me, let me introduce myself. My name is Margo — I’m a 1-year-old female Lab/Retriever mix weighing around 60 pounds.
I am housebroken and will whimper at the door if I need to go out. I’m a quick learner and already know quite a few commands like sit, shake, stay, and go for walk. I don’t need a crate because I am very well behaved. And quiet, boy am I quiet; I only bark when necessary.
But I have a few reservations about things and I think I should tell you about them. I am skittish and need some time to get used to new settings. Also, children make me nervous with their quick, unpredictable movements. I would do best in a quiet house with calm people.
Foster Mom says, “Margo is truly the sweetest & most chill foster we’ve had! Perfect houseguest and never gets into anything. She just wants to be with her humans.” Awww, shucks, love you too, Foster Mom!

We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog. Come to the show to find out if this dog is the right fit for you — it's helpful to bring all family members and current dogs.
Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess.
Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area. Questions? Email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org. Hope to see you become part of the SCCR family!
