Meet Marbles
Hi, my name is Marbles! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Energetic, zippy, playful, curious, a bit of a wild child!!
-Can Live with Kids: Not recommended. Marbles is very particular about the way she is handled and also very easily overstimulated. She can become mouthy when overexcited and will need an adult only home that can help her stay under threshold.
-Can Live with Cats: Not recommended- very likely to have a high prey drive.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, could potentially live with a PLAYFUL and TOLERANT dog of similar size pending an initial introduction here at the shelter.
-Can do Apartment Living: Not recommended. Marbles is fairly sensitive to noise/sounds and is quite vocal, which may not be appreciated by neighbors.
-Potty Trained: Appears to be!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Depending on adopter experience, she may be required to sign up for classes.
-Energy Level: Very, very high!! "Couch potato" is not a word in this wild child's vocabulary
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, spay/microchip
-Additional Information: Marbles is a peppy, energetic dog who's always on the go! This wild child has TONS of energy and isn't always quite sure what to do with it. A home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation will be necessary to ensure she stays happy, healthy, and out of trouble! Marbles would greatly benefit from positive reinforcement training to help her brush up on some manners as well as find new things to channel her energy into. Someone with prior dog experience will be preferred. A consistent routine will help her adjust and settle into her new home. Someone who isn't gone long hours of the day would likely be best. Marbles may not be the dog for everyone, but for those who know and love chaotic Terrier energy, she'd be a perfect lifelong companion! If that sounds like you, submit an application to see if it's a match.
