Maple Siberian Husky Olympia, WA

Maple is a beautiful, red Siberian husky. Tall and lean, about 50 pounds. She was pulled from a high-kill shelter in California and we think she is about 3 or 4 years old.

Maple has been living with us in foster for about a month now and this is what we have learned about her:

- She is immediately and reliably friendly. She loves everyone.
- She is endlessly affectionate. She likes to cuddle and although she may start the night on the sofa, she will be sleeping next to you in the morning.
- She is calm around the house and confident in new situations.
- She is confident and friendly when she meets new dogs.
- She walks great on leash albeit a little slow.
- She loves to nap in the yard while we're working around the house. We would like her to go to a home where she has similar opportunity.
- She's very gentle, even when she's being naughty.
- Another dog would be great but not necessary. No cats - she's not mean, just annoying.

I don't know what else to tell you, she's just a really nice dog.
