Weighing in at 10 lbs, Mango is a soft-hearted sweetheart with a calm, quiet presence that makes him especially endearing<br/>.<br/>Mango is currently being fostered in AUSTIN, TX and can transport out of state to an approved adopter—transport is arranged by the rescue.<br/><br/>Mango may be on the shy side, but don’t let that fool you—he’s playful and loving once he warms up. He enjoys romping with his littermates, wrestling gently, and diving into a pile of toys with quiet enthusiasm. When playtime winds down, Mango is quick to curl up beside you and soak in all the snuggles he can get. He’s the kind of puppy that brings a peaceful joy to your home and thrives on gentle affection and patient companionship.<br/><br/>Like all puppies his age, Mango is still working on housebreaking and crate training, so he’ll need a family that’s ready to guide him with patience, structure, and consistency. Because he’s still young and learning, he’ll do best in a home where someone is around more often than not to help support his development and give him the attention he needs to thrive. During the day, he’s not crated for more than 3–4 hours at a time.<br/><br/>He’s making steady progress with potty training and hasn’t had accidents in his crate. He’s not yet leash trained, so his forever family should be ready to help him build confidence with walks and new environments.<br/><br/>Mango hasn’t been around children or cats, but we believe he would do well in a calm home with respectful, well-mannered kids who understand how to interact with shy puppies. He’s fantastic with other dogs and would benefit from the companionship of a confident canine friend.<br/><br/>His mom weighs just 19 lbs fully grown, and while we don’t know who dad was, we expect Mango to stay on the smaller side—but we can’t guarantee adult size. What we can promise is that Mango will bring sweetness, serenity, and a whole lot of love to his future forever home.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a gentle, quiet, and affectionate pup who will grow into your loyal little shadow, Mango just might be the one.<br/>___<br/><br/>***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
