Meet Mamacita - MI
Meet Mamacita
This amazing baby is a female Border Collie mix who was born around 7/01/20. She weighs in at 51 pounds full of love and affection. She's current on her vaccines and is being treated for heartworms on slow kill method by The Artemis Project, who will continue to provide the medications for the duration of my treatment even if you adopt me so please don't let that stop you!
This beautiful lady has a great personality! She's gentle, a little shy, and quietly hoping for someone to notice her. She's simply looking for a home where she'll be loved and treated like a member of the family. She's gonna make some lucky family the bestest companion, full of love and loyalty.
Her foster family says this:
"She's great and happy. Very smart we call her Sarah and she has already learned her name. Potty trained knows commands and just all around happy. Loves to cuddle."
She's excited to find her forever home with her new loving family. That very well could be YOU!
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
