Meet Mama Dolly JuM

Mama Dolly JuM

Who let the dogs out?

It was Colonel Mustard in the study with the candle stick. Wait. I have no clue what I am talking about. And I think the real question is….Who let the dogs in? It was Mr. Richards. Mr. Richards was my first ever human Papa, he lives on the south side of San Antonio and people kept dumping doggies off and he kept taking them in. But his heart was bigger than his pocketbook and feeding 40 dogs took lots of money, so Rescue Ladies came over and took us to find new Mamas and Papas.

I hadn’t met so many people before, so when the Rescue Ladies first came over, I have to admit, I was not THAT into them. But then I saw they had something in their hands…yummy bits of sausages and weiners and dern if my nose didn’t tell me to go right over to them to solickcit some of those treats.

Now, I enjoy being pet and scratched and don’t want you to stop! You might wonder why it took me so long from being rescued to finally going up for adoption. PUPPIES. Yep, I had 8 puppies at the young age of 1 year old. I had to raise those puppins for several weeks. I have been free of those little crumb snatchers about a month or two now.

I would really love a home environment that has other dogs as I used to live with LOTS of dogs and I enjoy their company. It is no offense against you humans, I just really like someone who speaks my language, the language of tail. I am nervous when I first meet new people, but I warm up quick….especially if you have something yummy in your hand. I am a Basenjii mixed girl of about 28 pounds full grown at 1-2 years old. Adopt me!
