Mama Birdie is yet another victim of irresponsible breeding. When her prior owners took her in, they didn’t even think of the consequences of having her in the same home as their unneutered male German Shepherd. The result was mama Birdie landing in an overcrowded shelter with her 7 puppies. Of course, all of mama Birdie’s puppies will easily find their forever homes, but for this sweet girl, things won’t be so simple. Mama Birdie is a sweet, friendly, playful, happy girl. But she is also Heartworm positive. She is currently being treated and is doing just fine. We are hoping to find her a home where she can finally get all of the love and attention she deserves. Mama Birdie is a beautiful girl, with a passion for life and an extreme love for any and all squeaky toys. Please co adore giving her a chance.
