Mama just wants to be loved on and is quite content with just cozying up on the couch and watching a movie or just basically being wherever you are. Her favorite is belly rubs while she is cozying next to you on the bed or snuggling on the couch. Mama and her three year old son Canelo were left by their owner at an abandoned homeless encampment in a chain linked kennel in the 20 degree cold snap with no one to care for them. Church volunteers stepped in to help them get safe and warm. Considering what they have been through they are two of the most lovable babies you will ever meet. Mama's ideal home is with someone who works from home and who is looking for a lovable best friend to join the family. Mama warms up right away and is fast to make friends. She is literally all about the snuggles. Mama and Canelo would do best adopted separately as they tend to get into tiffs when they compete for attention or bones. For this reason we think they will do best as only dogs in the household but there's no reason to believe they could not play well with others. Mama is spayed, chipped and vaccinated.
